I recently visited Small Indulgences after a friend of mine who lives in Saint Augustine recommended it to me. I treated myself to a full day there for my birthday and had an amazing and very relaxing experience. The place is decorated beautifully and feels very luxurious, but the prices were very reasonable and the people that work there were all very friendly and helpful. The deep tissue massage left me feeling very relaxed and rejuvenated and the sea salt body treatment left my skin feeling refreshed and the softest it's ever felt. After all the pampering I got throughout the day, I left feeling like a million bucks. I definitely recommend this spa to anyone who lives in the area or is visiting and would like to treat themselves to something special.

I decided to try this Day Spa in St. Augustine for a treatment a week before my wedding. I was new to the area and this was the first spa I tried. I booked for a European Facial as I enjoyed getting facials done in the past. To say I was disappointed was an understatement. They were over an hour late seeing me for my appointment with no apology whatsoever. The lady doing my facial knew it was a week before my wedding and made awful comments about my skin (it was a little sensitive at the time but nothing major). The facial was not relaxing at all taking only 25 minutes (I know my facials and know that it should have been an hour long). All throughout the facial she was trying to sell me product after product and get me to come back for glycolic peels during the week before my wedding (not something I would recommend to anyone with sensitive skin!) I was horrified by this salon. I paid my money and arrived home in tears. My husband phoned the salon to complain for me and to speak to the salon owner who offered me a free treatment - no thankyou. A friend also had a bad experience getting her hair done at this salon. Buyer beware - not recommended!
