Most Romantic place AND Great Food!

Opus 39 is my very favorite restaurant in all of north east Florida. Chef Michael is superb. The menu changes every night. So, it's always exciting. You have lots of choices, but it's ALL fresh, and unique and very good! It's one of those places that you look forward to...with tantilizing anticipation. (My brother once admitted to me, "I couldn't sleep last night, because I was so excited about what Chef Michael would be creating for us today!" That sort of says it all!) You can choose your wine from a extensive selection. They have many fine wines from small vineyards. It's an EXPERIENCE!! It's romantic. It's the best! I've been there several times when some guy is proposing to his gal. And...how sweet is that! The whole restaurant burst into applause when she says "YES". Then the ladies are all dabbing their eyes, and the co-owner, Christine, is running around with a box of tissues for them! It's usually caught on someone's camera. BECAUSE...many folks bring their cameras to take pictures of themselves eating there, and then, they take photos of the FOOD. The presentation is....beautiful. They have a website. I recommend you try this place.... You won't be disappointed! It's my all time FAVORITE!

When someone asks me, "Where do want to go for dinner?" This is ALWAYS the place that comes to mind. ALWAYS! The food is WONDERFUL! The whole experience is.... "THE BEST"...every time! I never tire of dining here. If someone tells me their son is looking for a romantic place to take his girlfriend to propose to her, OPUS 39 is the place. If I want to just go out for a nice evening, of good food, wonderful atmoshere, where my date and I can have a nice conversation---this is THE PLACE TO GO! The people who wait on you are first rate, knowledgeable and professional. The food is superb! Chef Michael is top notch. He is well trained and the food is exciting! It's different food every time. But, it's always an EXPERIENCE! And, their wine selection is extensive. I can't say enough about this place. IT IS EXCEPTIONAL! I have dined all over the United States, and in many countries in this world...this is my favorite restaurant.

We regularly dine at Opus 39 when we are looking for great food, excellent service by a professionally trained staff, and in a professional decorated dining area. We have always had a great experience dining at Opus. My wife grew up in New Orleans and thinks Opus 39 is as good or better than most of the fine dining restaurants there. The wines list is extensive and fairly priced.

If you like small spaces and standing on cement for more then 45 min after reservation time,placed in a small cold room,standing shoulder to shoulder with so called wine people,they have no liquor license.We never got to try the food we waited so long that we had to move to the front door area ,then out the door. The owners never seemed to care whether we stayed or not, They seemed very cold to the staff working for them ,the wife snapped at a waitperson while we were there, I found the whole experience drawn out and very cold.
